2009 Inductees
Paul Schroeder (Cathedral Boys)
- 18 years as ISCA membership coordinator and treasurer
- Paul was the first recipient of the ISCA President's award in 2004.
- As a player from St. Louis MO, Paul was recognized as an All-State player in H.S. He attended Earlham College where he started every game in his 4 year career, setting the record for most goals in a season, and being selected to the NSCAA NAIA All-American team in 84, 85 and 1986. Paul still holds the Earlham record for most career points with 51 goals and 46 assists He was inducted into the Earlham College Athletic HOF in 2005.
- Paul began coaching with Washington Township Youth Soccer Assn, and then Dynamo F.C, where he coached from 1987 - 2001. In 1990 he also began coaching at Cathedral, and he was hired as a math teacher there in the fall of 1992. Paul credits his coaches in high school and college for inspiring him to become a coach. He remembers wanting to be a soccer coach ever since he was in high school so he could stay involved in the game and have the opportunity to also give back to other players what his coaches through the years had given him.
