Greenwood Christian Academy is seeking a dynamic, experienced, faith-driven individual as the leader of its varsity boys soccer program for the Fall 2021 season and beyond. Athletics is an integral part of the student experience at GCA. Through this head coaching position, the candidate will be expected to carry out the mission and vision of GCA in an athletic setting, while pursuing excellence with the team on and off
the field. 

We believe strongly in the value of relationships, and the life-changing impact that coaches have on our student-athletes. Candidates must have exceptional organizational and communication skills with student-athletes, parents, and school personnel. Head coaches are responsible for all tasks related to their program including, player accountability, effective communication, practice/game preparation, offseason engagement, selection of staff, and involvement with the middle school level to promote program growth and continuity. Boys Soccer Head Coach — Beginning Fall 2021

University High School of Indiana seeks a dynamic individual to be the head boys soccer coach beginning with the fall 2021 season. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coaching soccer at the high school level and a desire to collaborate with the athletics staff on the soccer program.

Athletics are an integral part of the total educational program at University High School, and each year more than 70 percent of students participate in at least one sport at UHS. Our no-cut IHSAA athletics program strives to provide a growth experience for new players as well as college-bound athletes.

 

Candidates must be able to commit to hours of after-school practice as well as evening and weekend games, and they must have strong communication and organizational skills. Head coaches at University High School are responsible for all tasks related to their program, including planning, implementing, and assessing a soccer program that fits the school’s mission to expand the hearts and minds of its students through academic, creative, and physical achievement. Head coaches have a lead role in selecting and managing their staff.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to coach soccer at all levels of student experience, from new players to prospective college athletes, required
  • Coaching experience at the high school level strongly preferred
  • Commitment to the school’s core values of diversity, excellence, personal responsibility, stewardship, creativity, and mutual respect, support, and trust required
  • Background check and current authorization to be employed in the U.S. required
